Scene Design and Storyboard:

When I first conceived my scene, I wanted it to be: the character walks through the forest and at the end hides a very different relic, a huge religious Buddha statue among the rocky. Something like these pictures.
Then I designed the storyboard and the concept painting of the scene. The storyboard envisioned a close-up shot of walking across the grass, then a close-up shot of the character’s upper body, and followed by she looking ahead. Finally, a full shot showing all the scene.
In the original concept, I wanted a sky light in the ruins to be the main light source through the roof of the cave to shine on the Buddha statue, as shown on the right. However, I found a key problem: It is nonsense that the interior of a cave appears at the end of the forest. the character could only see the entrance of a cave. Thus, I increased my scene from one to two, which are the entrance to the cave, and the entrance to the ruins inside the cave.
